Our Game Review Process

How We Review Games

Before a game is added to Unihfy Games, we examine the actual playing experience, controls, technical behavior, and the information players need to understand it. This page explains how we evaluate games and create the guides that appear alongside them.

Our Approach

Our goal is not to build the largest possible game library. We focus on creating a useful collection where players can discover games, understand how they work, and start playing with clear information.

Each game is considered as an individual experience. We look at how it plays, whether its controls and objectives can be understood, how it behaves in the browser, and what information would genuinely help someone playing it for the first time.

The result of this process appears throughout our game pages in the form of original descriptions, controls, how-to-play instructions, gameplay features, screenshots or trailers when available, frequently asked questions, categories, tags, and related recommendations.

Our Game Review Process

1

Game Discovery and Initial Selection

We first consider whether a game offers a worthwhile playable experience and fits the types of games available on Unihfy Games. We look at the core gameplay idea, genre, accessibility, suitability for browser play, and whether the game adds useful variety to the existing collection.

2

Integration and Compatibility Preparation

We prepare selected games for the Unihfy Games player experience. Depending on the title, this may involve reviewing responsive behavior, screen layout, device orientation, touch controls, loading behavior, browser compatibility, or other technical details that affect playability across supported devices.

3

Direct Gameplay Testing

We open and play the game to understand its objectives, controls, progression, difficulty, important mechanics, and overall flow. This helps us describe the actual experience instead of relying only on a title or short promotional summary.

4

Controls and Gameplay Review

We check the main movement and interaction controls, how the player progresses, what causes success or failure, and which mechanics may require additional explanation for new players.

5

Technical and Browser Checks

We test whether the integrated game loads correctly and remains playable in the browser experience provided on our platform. Depending on the title, we check desktop and mobile behavior, responsive layout, portrait or landscape orientation, touch interaction, loading behavior, and other compatibility issues. When we identify problems that can be addressed within the game integration, we make adjustments and test again.

6

Guide and Page Creation

After understanding the game, we create supporting information such as the description, controls, how-to-play instructions, gameplay features, tags, and frequently asked questions. Media such as screenshots and trailers may also be added when available.

7

Final Page Review

Before the page is considered complete, we review the game information together with the playable experience to catch obvious inaccuracies, unclear instructions, missing details, or presentation issues.

Preparing Games for Publication

Games can require different levels of preparation before they are published on Unihfy Games. We review each title individually and focus on the work needed to provide a reliable and understandable playing experience on our platform.

Depending on the game, preparation may include integrating it with our player experience, checking loading behavior, reviewing screen layout and orientation, testing input methods, and making compatibility adjustments where needed.

Some titles work well with minimal preparation, while others require additional attention to responsive behavior, touch interaction, browser compatibility, or presentation before publication.

As part of the publication process, we test the game directly and create original supporting content based on what we observe. This may include descriptions, controls, how-to-play instructions, feature explanations, frequently asked questions, screenshots, trailers, tags, and other player guidance.

What We Check Before Publishing

Gameplay

We examine the core objective, progression, important mechanics, challenge level, and the actions a player needs to understand.

Controls

We identify the main movement and interaction controls and check whether our instructions match the actual playing experience.

Playability

We check whether the game loads successfully and whether the main playing experience works as expected.

Device and Screen Behavior

Where relevant, we review input methods, screen sizes, orientation, responsive behavior, and other compatibility considerations.

Player Guidance

We identify mechanics, hazards, objectives, or progression systems that may need additional explanation for first-time players.

Page Accuracy

We compare the published information with the experience we observed so descriptions and gameplay guidance remain useful and relevant.

How We Create Game Guides

A game page should help players do more than simply launch a game. We create supporting content to explain what the game is, how to begin, which controls to use, and what mechanics or challenges players are likely to encounter.

Descriptions are written to summarize the actual gameplay experience. Controls are organized so players can quickly understand the available inputs, while how-to-play sections break the experience into practical steps.

Feature sections highlight notable mechanics, modes, progression systems, challenges, or other elements found in the game. Frequently asked questions are created around information that may help players understand controls, objectives, progression, saving, difficulty, or other important parts of the experience.

The amount of information varies from game to game because not every title has the same level of complexity. A simple arcade game may need less explanation than a platformer with multiple mechanics, modes, collectibles, and progression systems.

Different Games Require Different Reviews

We do not use an identical checklist for every title because games can differ significantly in structure. A puzzle game may require close attention to rules and problem-solving mechanics, while a racing game may depend more heavily on controls, responsiveness, and course progression.

Platformers often require testing of movement, jumping, hazards, checkpoints, and special traversal mechanics. Strategy games may need clearer explanations of objectives, resources, defenses, or decision-making systems.

This flexible approach allows us to focus on the parts of each game that matter most to the player rather than forcing every title into the same review format.

Updates and Corrections

Games, browsers, and website features can change over time. A page that was accurate when created may later need an update because of a technical change, newly discovered issue, or inaccurate piece of information.

When we identify a meaningful error, we aim to correct the affected information. We may also update game pages when better instructions, clearer explanations, improved media, or technical adjustments become available.

Player feedback can help us identify issues that are difficult to reproduce across every device and browser. Reports about broken gameplay, incorrect controls, unclear instructions, or page errors are useful inputs for future corrections.

What a Review Means on Unihfy Games

Our review process is designed to improve game selection, page accuracy, and player guidance. It does not mean that every game will appeal to every player or work identically on every possible device, browser version, or hardware configuration.

Games can vary in difficulty, visual style, complexity, and intended audience. Our role is to examine the experience, provide useful information, and help players make a more informed decision about what they want to play.

Help Us Improve

If you find incorrect gameplay information, controls that do not match the game, a technical problem, or another issue with a game page, you can contact us and describe what you encountered.

Useful reports help us review problems and improve the information available to future players.
