Twenty questions of the kind that circulate forever because they sound made up. An animal with an unusual number of a fairly important organ, a creature that cannot perform a movement everybody assumes all animals can, a food that never spoils, a word so long it is a joke about the thing it names. Facts like these spread because they violate an assumption rather than because they are important, and once heard they are almost impossible to forget, which is exactly what makes them good quiz material. It draws on biology, astronomy, geography, language and everyday numbers. Rated Easy, and the reason is that this material is shared constantly on social media, in pub conversations and in children's books, so most adults have encountered a surprising number of these without ever seeking them out. A fact becomes viral when it contradicts something you did not realise you believed. You assume every animal has one of something, or can perform some basic movement, or that food eventually goes off. Each of those assumptions has a well-known exception.
