How to Play

  • Start each level with 125 gold and 10 lives. Enemies will spawn in waves along marked paths.
  • Click on highlighted tower locations to open the tower menu and select which tower to build.
  • Place Archer Towers (50 gold) for long-range single-target damage, Cannon Towers (75 gold) for explosive area damage, or Slow Towers (75 gold) to freeze enemies.
  • Earn gold by defeating enemies - 15 gold for Goblins, 8 gold for Footmen, and 25 gold for Imps. Receive 25 bonus gold per wave completed.
  • Upgrade your towers by clicking them and selecting upgrades. Each tower has two unique upgrade options to enhance damage, fire rate, or special effects.
  • Survive all 10 waves on each level without losing all your lives. Each enemy that reaches the end costs 1-3 lives depending on the enemy type.
  • Defeat all three levels to win the game. Difficulty increases as wave count increases and enemies gain health and speed bonuses.

FAQs

What's the difference between the three tower types?

Archer Towers cost 50 gold and shoot arrows at individual enemies with a 160-tile attack radius. Cannon Towers cost 75 gold and fire explosive cannonballs that damage all enemies in an area. Slow Towers cost 75 gold and freeze enemies in place without dealing direct damage. Choose Archer Towers for reliable damage, Cannons for crowd control, and Slow Towers to protect critical sections of your path.

How do tower upgrades work?

Each tower has two unique upgrades available. Click on a placed tower and select an upgrade option. Archer Towers can shoot multiple arrows or add bleed effects. Cannon Towers can increase their explosion radius or damage output. Slow Towers can deal additional damage or become more effective at slowing enemies. Each upgrade costs progressively more gold and cannot be installed twice.

What's the best strategy for placing towers?

Position towers along enemy paths where multiple enemies will pass through their range. Prioritize upgrading towers over building new ones early on. Use Cannon Towers at choke points to damage multiple enemies at once. Place Slow Towers to protect critical areas where you're losing lives. Save enough gold to react to enemy waves rather than spending everything immediately.

How does the difficulty increase across waves?

Enemies gain health and speed bonuses for each wave that passes. Footmen start at 100 health and gain 5 HP per wave. Goblins start at 40 health and gain 2.5 HP per wave. Imps start at 150 health and gain 10 HP per wave, plus armor bonuses. Wave count also affects how frequently new waves spawn, so you'll face faster-arriving enemy groups later.

What happens if I lose all 10 lives?

The level ends and you reach the Game Over screen. You can return to the title menu and restart the level. Different enemy types cost different numbers of lives - Footmen cost 1 life, Goblins cost 2 lives, and Imps cost 3 lives when they escape past your towers.

Can I sell towers for a refund?

Yes! Click on any placed tower and select the sell option to reclaim its gold value. You'll receive the full purchase price plus any upgrade costs you've paid. This lets you reposition towers or change your strategy mid-level based on how enemies are flowing.

What's the best way to earn bonus gold?

You receive 25 bonus gold each time you complete a wave by defeating all enemies in it. Survive longer waves to maximize your income. Since Imps give 25 gold and cost 25 gold in bonus rewards per wave, focus on efficiently defeating them to build your tower economy and scale into late-game waves.
