FAQs
What is the best tower in Bloons Tower Defense 4?
There's no single best tower - each has strengths and weaknesses. Super Monkeys are powerful but expensive, while Dart Monkeys are cheap and versatile. The best strategy is combining different tower types to cover each other's weaknesses.
How do I pop camo bloons?
Camo bloons can only be seen and popped by towers with camo detection. Upgrade certain towers like Ninja Monkeys or use the Monkey Village ability to grant camo detection to nearby towers.
What happens when a bloon reaches the end?
When bloons reach the end of the track, you lose lives. Regular bloons cost 1 life, stronger bloons cost more. If you lose all lives, the game ends.
Can I sell towers after placing them?
Yes, click on a placed tower and select the sell option. You'll get back some of the money spent, allowing you to re-strategize if your current setup isn't working.
What are MOABs?
MOABs (Massive Ornary Airblimps) are giant blimp-like bloons that appear in later waves. They have massive health and release multiple smaller bloons when destroyed, requiring strong coordinated defenses.
How do I unlock new tracks?
New tracks unlock as you increase your rank by completing games and earning experience. Higher ranks also unlock new tower types and upgrades.
What's the difference between the two upgrade paths?
Each tower has two upgrade paths that lead to different abilities. For example, one path might increase damage while the other adds special effects like slowing enemies. Choose based on your strategy.
